Korea’s official guidance specifically confirms post-submission changes for information such as travel dates, accommodation and contact details, purpose of entry, and occupation. Passport identity fields are not included in that confirmed list, so if your name, passport number, date of birth, nationality, sex, or passport expiration information is wrong, check the official Edit screen first and do not leave incorrect identity information unaddressed.
First, Check Whether the Wrong Field Can Be Edited
Not every mistake needs the same solution. A changed hotel or flight detail is different from entering incorrect information from the passport you will present at immigration.

How to Edit a Submitted Korea e-Arrival Card
You do not need a separate correction website. The Korean government provides the Check/Edit function on the same official e-Arrival Card service used for submission.
- Go to the official Korea e-Arrival Card website.
- Select Check/Edit.
- Retrieve your declaration using either the e-Arrival Card issuance number or email verification.
- Review the information displayed on the submitted card.
- Select Edit and correct the information that the system allows you to change.
- Review the corrected information carefully before completing the update.
- Open the latest e-Arrival Card again and confirm that the information matches your passport and current travel plans.
When searching by issuance number, the official Check/Edit page asks for the issuance number, passport number, and date of birth. The other option is email verification, which uses the representative email address entered when the declaration was submitted.
For a group submission, the representative declarant can verify the representative email address and review or edit the travelers included in that submission.
What If the Passport Information Is Wrong?
A mistake in your hotel address or flight information is different from an error in your passport number, name, or other identity information. The arrival declaration should accurately reflect the valid passport you will present to Korean immigration.
The Ministry of Justice specifically confirms that information such as travel dates, accommodation and contact details, purpose of entry, and occupation can be changed after submission. The current guidance does not give the same explicit confirmation for passport identity fields.
For that reason, do not assume that a wrong passport number or name can always be repaired through the normal Edit function. Retrieve the declaration and check the available fields first.
If the incorrect passport field is locked, do not leave the incorrect identity information in place simply because other parts of the card can be edited. Check whether the official service allows you to make a new declaration with the correct passport information. If the correct procedure is unclear, contact the Immigration Contact Center before immigration inspection.
The Ministry of Justice FAQ also states that if a traveler resubmits using the same personal information before the existing e-Arrival Card expires, only the newer submission will be accessible. After any resubmission, check the latest card rather than relying on an older PDF or screenshot.
What If Your Flight or Hotel Changed After Submission?
A genuine itinerary change is generally easier to handle. Korea’s official guidance allows submitted information such as travel dates, accommodation and contact information to be edited before immigration inspection.
For example, if your flight information changes or you move to a different hotel before arriving, retrieve the declaration through Check/Edit and update the relevant field.
If you will stay at several places in Korea, official guidance says you only need to provide your primary accommodation. If you do not have a primary accommodation, provide the address of the place where you will stay first.
There is an additional restriction on changing the arrival date. The current official e-Arrival Card guide states that the arrival date can only be corrected within three days from the initial submission date.
The official guide also states that an e-Arrival Card automatically loses validity 72 hours after submission. If you do not enter Korea within that period, you will need to submit a new e-Arrival Card. You can confirm the current rules in the official e-Arrival Card guide.
What If You Cannot Find Your Submitted Card?
Start with the official Check/Edit page.
For an individual search using the issuance number, enter the issuance number, passport number, and date of birth. The official service also provides an email-verification method.
If declarations for several travelers were submitted together, the representative declarant can use the representative email address to verify the submission and review or edit the included travelers.
If you cannot use either official retrieval method because you do not have the issuance number and cannot verify the email address used for submission, contact the official e-Arrival Card service rather than repeatedly entering information by guesswork.

Can You Fix the Card After Arriving at the Airport?
Yes, the important cutoff is immigration inspection. Korea’s official FAQ states that an e-Arrival Card can still be submitted after arriving in Korea as long as it is completed before immigration inspection, and the official correction guidance allows submitted information to be edited before that inspection.
If you notice a mistake while waiting at Incheon, Gimpo, or another Korean airport, open the official government website and check the declaration before reaching the immigration counter.
If you discover a significant mistake only after immigration inspection has already been completed, the normal online editing period has ended. For a material passport or immigration-related concern, contact the Immigration Contact Center rather than guessing whether further action is required.
Do Not Pay a Website to “Fix” Your e-Arrival Card
The official Korea e-Arrival Card service is free. On March 9, 2026, Korea Immigration Service issued another warning about websites impersonating the official service and stated that www.e-arrivalcard.go.kr is the only official e-Arrival Card website.
The government warning also states that a website requesting payment information is not the official service. If a site asks for card details or a processing fee simply to submit or correct an e-Arrival Card, stop and check the address before entering personal information.

Before You Head to Immigration
After making a correction or submitting another declaration, compare the latest information with your passport and actual itinerary one more time. Check the passport details carefully, then confirm your arrival information and place of stay.
You can download the submitted e-Arrival Card as a PDF or save a screenshot for your own reference. Korea’s official guidance states that you are not required to carry the submitted e-Arrival Card file for immigration inspection, but keeping the latest version can make it easier to verify what you submitted.
